Responsible Gambling Summit 2025

The South African Responsible Gambling Foundation (SARGF) in partnership with the Eastern Cape Gambling Board, KwaZulu-Natal Economic Regulator Authority, Limpopo Gambling Board, Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board and the National Gambling Board will be hosting the Responsible Gambling (“RG”) Summit 2025, to held on 13 – 14 November 2025 at Emperors Palace, Kempton Park Gauteng.

RG Summit was initially hosted by the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board in 2023.

Objectives and Expected Outcomes

Assemble

Gather of gambling industry stakeholders to discuss and deliberate on responsible gambling practices and trends to enhance South Africa’s response to incidents of problem gambling

Solutions

Solutions-based Summit where resolutions taken are converted into stakeholder-responsible gambling action plans that are monitored, and progress is provided at the biennial Summit

Strength

Advocate for legislation and regulation reforms to strengthen responsible gambling practices

Support

Strengthen responsible gambling collaborations between operators and regulators
